For clarity, the following terms have the meanings set out below whenever they appear in this document:

• Account — the user profile you create to access the Service.
• Content — text, images, prompts, articles, metadata, or other material you submit to or generate through the Service.
• Connected Site — any WordPress, Google Search Console, or other third-party property you link to your Account.
• Subscription — a paid plan that grants access to specific features and quotas.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and legally able to enter into a contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your Account. Notify us immediately at support@writepilot.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

WritePilot helps you plan, generate, optimize, and publish SEO content using AI-assisted workflows, keyword research tools, on-page audits, internal-linking utilities, Google Search Console insights, and automated publishing to WordPress and other supported platforms. Features and quotas depend on your plan and may evolve as we improve the product.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• publish illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful content;
• infringe any intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other right of any third party;
• generate or distribute malware, phishing pages, or other malicious code;
• create content intended to mislead users or manipulate search results in violation of Google's Spam Policies;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service;
• resell, sublicense, or provide the Service as a managed offering without a written agreement;
• circumvent rate limits, plan quotas, authentication, or security mechanisms;
• connect WordPress sites, Google accounts, or domains you do not own or have explicit permission to manage.

We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate Accounts that breach this section.

The Service uses third-party large-language models and other AI providers to assist in generating Content. AI output can be inaccurate, biased, outdated, or otherwise unsuitable. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and fact-checking any Content before publishing it, and for ensuring it complies with applicable laws, regulations, your audience's expectations, and the policies of the platforms on which it is published (including Google Search Essentials and Spam Policies). We make no warranty regarding accuracy, originality, ranking outcomes, traffic, or revenue resulting from generated Content.

You retain all ownership rights in the Content you submit and in the Content generated for you through the Service, subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, and process your Content solely as necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service for you. We will not sell your Content or use it to train third-party foundation models.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file for the applicable fees, taxes, and any overage charges until you cancel. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. You may cancel any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; price changes apply to the next renewal cycle.

We may offer free trials, promotional credits, or discounted plans. They are provided "as is" without warranty, are non-transferable, and may be modified or revoked at any time. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the standard rate.

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Google (Search Console, Indexing API, OAuth), WordPress, AI model providers, payment processors, and analytics tools. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, billing, or actions of any third-party service.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, remains the exclusive property of WritePilot and its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Your privacy matters to us. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service you consent to the data practices described there.

We may suspend or terminate your Account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if your use poses a security or legal risk, if required by law, or if you fail to pay fees when due. You may terminate your Account at any time. Upon termination, we will delete or anonymize your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee any specific search ranking, traffic volume, conversion rate, or business outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WritePilot, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WritePilot and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (i) your use of the Service, (ii) your Content, (iii) your violation of these Terms, or (iv) your violation of any third-party right.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we make material changes we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WritePilot is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and WritePilot regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent.
